Clarissa Brock
Clarissa’s dedication to training is rooted in a lifelong interest in behavior—how different species learn, communicate, and develop confidence and resilience. Prior to working professionally with dogs, she supported children on the autism spectrum, assisting with skill development, social interaction, and emotional regulation through structured, compassionate support.
Her career in dog training began at a board-and-train facility, where she reconnected with her passion for working with dogs after fostering during college. She advanced from kennel attendant to lead trainer, gaining extensive hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of learning, from foundational obedience to more complex behavior modification.
Clarissa founded Good Snoot Dog Training to offer personalized, relationship-focused programs built on clear communication, structure, and enrichment. She believes every dog deserves to feel understood, and every owner deserves the knowledge and tools to build confidence, calm, and a strong partnership with their dog.
Outside of training, Clarissa enjoys hiking with Buddy, her energetic deaf rescue dog, and staying up to date with the latest research in animal behavior to continually refine her approach. She is grateful to support families on their training journeys and help good dogs become even better companions.
