Clarissa Brock

Clarissa’s dedication to training originates from a lifelong interest in behavior—how different species learn, communicate, and develop confidence and resilience. Prior to working with dogs, she supported children on the autism spectrum, helping with skill development, social navigation, and emotional regulation through consistent, compassionate guidance.

Her transition to dog training began at a board-and-train facility, where she rediscovered her passion for helping dogs—she’d previously fostered dogs during college. She progressed from kennel attendant to lead trainer, gaining hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of learning, from foundational manners to behavior modification.

Clarissa founded Good Snoot Dog Training to provide personalized, relationship-focused programs grounded in clear communication and enrichment. She believes every dog deserves to feel understood and every owner deserves the tools to build confidence, calm, and a solid relationship with their dog.

Outside of work, Clarissa hikes with Buddy, her energetic rescue who is deaf, and keeps current with the latest animal behavior research to continuously refine her methods. She is grateful to support families on their training journeys, helping good dogs become even better companions.
